Objective

  • To promote medical and pharmacy education and research.
  • To develop and promote standards of education through impart training for pharmacists and healthcare professionals like Physicians, Dentist, Public health etc.
  • To develop and promote short-term informal training programmes for healthcare professionals.
  • To publish documents, journals, books and other publications for promoting the profession of medical field and pharmacy field.
  • To conduct workshops, conferences, seminars, and discussions for the promotion of medical and pharmacy field.
  • To provide online training to working and training pharmacists to promote pharmaceutical care in Indian hospitals.
  • To create and provide study materials and guidance to students and working pharmacy professionals related to pharmacy practice and appearing for foreign competitive exams and engage them in industry based module like Pharmacovigilance, Medical Writing, and clinical Research etc.

Principles of Transparency and Best Practices at IJHPP

As per the recent guidelines by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), International Journal of hospital and Pharmacy Practice (IJHPP) voluntarily adopts the following mechanism as Best Practices to maintain the Principles of Transparency. 

Process for identification of and dealing with allegations of research misconduct:  Following mechanism adopted at IJHPP to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred including plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication.

All manuscripts are processed through licensed plagiarism detection software before acceptance of the manuscript for publication. Reviewers who are experts in the subject areas are selected automatically using artificial intelligence techniques based on the topic and keywords of the manuscript for review. Reviewers identified by IJHPP are trained to identify citation manipulation and data falsification/fabrication.
